AutoFrost GHG-X7
R-134a Substitute

(click on image for more detail)

GHG-X7 has been replaced by GHG-X8 (Cooltop TM). There may still be some GHG-X7 left in inventory, and it will work just fine incase we run out of GHG-X8/Cooltop TM.

GHG-X7 R-134a Substitute does not replace any ozone depleting substance and is therefore exempt from EPA SNAP reporting/regulation.

Special on
GHG-X7 (includes two 14 oz cans of GHG-X7,
enough for a complete recharge of an average car, a charging hose and tap).
Use to replace R-134a refrigerant only. Do not use GHG-X7 to replace
R-12. Use R-406A to replace R-12.

NO OIL CHANGE required - uses standard R-134a PAG or POE (ester) oils. DO not use to replace R-12 or in mineral oil systems.

EPA SNAP listing not required, since this product contains no ozone depleting substances
and the substance being replaced (R-134a) contains none as well, it falls outside EPA SNAP
Jurisdiction.

Zero Ozone depletion.

Currently, GHG-X7 may be sold to the public without EPA 609 certification, just like R-134a. The EPA is proposing to restrict the sale of R-134a to certified technicians only, in the future. GHG-X7 will be restricted to certified technicians when the R-134a rule becomes effective.
